Arena Development was hired by this client to consult on the purchase of a home. Monica and Ashish wanted advice on purchasing a new construction house to buy in a specific neighborhood. After considering numerous houses they decided to build their dream home and signed on with Arena Development.

Our team secured a tear down ranch home in their neighborhood of choice. In order to adhere to the clients’ budget we found a house that we were able to build new from the existing foundation up. Arena’s team members had to make sure that the existing foundation was structurally sound to support an addition to the rear of the home as well as support a 2nd and 3rd level.

The client wanted a New England colonial with an open floor plan that focused on an open kitchen to family room and first floor in-law suite. We had to remove the old existing pool and build a retaining wall at the rear of the property to level the backyard. The home design was challenged by a city corner lot setback that required us to stagger the two car garage bays while at the same time keeping the beautiful rooflines of the dormers in sync with the design.

Although we first received pushback from the gas utility company, we eventually were able to secure a side lot natural gas line for the client which allowed them to have natural gas efficient utilities rather than oil or a propane tank in the ground. The clients could not have been happier and to this day are always open to allowing us to show a prospective client of ours their home.
